Thanks to Andrew and his team who after other plumbers said no on the phone his team came to see if they could do a job on my 2nd storey evaporative air con. For safety issues they could not do the work. They spent considerable time for nearly an hour trying to work out a way around the issues  but  I understood their decision. These guys completely plumbed our Laundromat. They did it expediently, professionally, cleanly and under budget!!! The copper pipework looks like an art installation, it’s so good we left it exposed.

Can my current ducts and controller be reused?

Sometimes, but only after checking their condition and compatibility with the proposed unit. Ask the quote to state what will be retained, replaced or excluded.

Ask for removal and disposal to be stated explicitly. Roof access and lifting arrangements can affect that part of the work.
A different brand may be an option, but the roof connection, ducting, controls and supply requirements need assessment. The new system should be selected for your home and installation.
